Our Vision
A sustainable and climate-resilient Sri Lanka where environmental justice is upheld, and every citizen is empowered to protect the planet.
What We Do
Climate Watch is an initiative dedicated to promoting responsible, accountable, and evidence-based climate journalism in Sri Lanka. The project aims to strengthen climate reporting by supporting journalists and media practitioners to produce accurate, accessible, and public-interest journalism on climate change and its impacts. It also promotes in-depth and investigative stories that examine climate-related risks, environmental governance, corporate and institutional accountability, and the impacts of climate change on communities and vulnerable groups.
Our Mission
To serve as a transparent digital watchdog that democratizes climate data, amplifies frontline community voices, and mobilizes collective citizen action to demand environmental accountability and policy change.
